Donations Needed for Humanitarian Response

Fire destroyed 150 homes in the Youth School Community

Around 2 am on January 6th, a fire broke out in the community surrounding EYC’s Youth School. Over 150 homes were burned to the ground, leaving many EYC students and their families not only homeless but without livelihoods as many families ran businesses out of their homes.

The EYC Team is working to determine how many students and families are impacted, and we are providing humanitarian support by distributing food and water, small amounts of money for necessities, and expanded social work services.

Please consider making a donation today to help support our students and their families through this tragedy.
